HVAC Updates
January 20, 2023.
Beginning Friday, January 27, contractors will start working the interior of the library, working in the ceilings of the library. During this work, certain areas of the library will be unavailable for browsing. These areas will change from week-to-week. Staff will be available to help get materials when it is safe to do so. Please ask staff for help.
There are three distinct phases of this project that will effect the ability of the public to browse the collection:
- Phase 1 – The YA area, DVDs, Audiobooks, Magazines, Adult and Teen Public Computers, Past and Present, and Biography sections will be closed for browsing. We will make Public Computers in the Children’s area open for all people to use during this phase.
- Phase 2 – The Children’s area and downstairs meeting rooms will be closed for browsing.
- Phase 3 – The Adult Nonfiction, Fiction and Large-Print sections will be closed for browsing. Staff area will be partially closed.
