OverDrive (Libby) provides library users with eBooks and eAudiobooks for download to a computer or variety of mobile devices, including MP3 players, iPods, iPads, Nooks, Kindles, and Smartphones. Apps are available for Android and iOS devices, including Overdrive’s new “one-step checkout” app called Libby. The library’s digital titles can also be searched through its online catalog.
Hoopla allows access thousands of digital video, music and audiobook titles for use on your computer, smartphone or tablet with hoopla. All content is available streaming; some content is available to download for offline viewing, via the hoopla app.
 The eBook Public Library Collection has over 33,000 titles featuring fiction and nonfiction titles for both adults and juveniles, as well as best-selling and highly-recommended titles from industry-leading publishers. Download these ePub or PDF files from your computer to your eReader. |
Freegal® is a free music service from your library. All you need is your library card number. Freegal offers access to about 8 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists, and over 15,000 music videos. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 28,000 labels with music that originates in over 100 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions.
Use RB Digital to download digital versions of more than 3,500 magazines, including Cosmopolitan, ESPN, GQ, Rolling Stone, and Harper’s Bazaar. Please note that magazines can be downloaded onto mobile devices such as tablets, smartphones, and some eReaders. However, they can only be streamed on a pc or laptop.
Kanopy is an on-demand streaming service with a collection of more than 30,000 films, including feature films, documentaries, foreign language films, kids’ movies, kids’ TV shows, classes from the Great Courses, and training videos. Kanopy Kids includes the Sesame Street catalog and animated versions of popular storybooks.
Creativebug provides on-demand access to over 1,000 high-definition arts and crafts instructional videos for kids, teens, and adults. Subjects include drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crochet, quilting, baking, and more. All classes are taught by experts, with new classes added daily. Creativebug also has an app available for iOS and Android.
