Reading Challenges

You can register online for any of the reading challenges we offer, using the Beanstack software. (And you can download the beanstack app to your device!) Paper copies of all reading challenges are available at the library!

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Get your child ready to read by sharing books together. Read anything – even the same story over and over! You can register online, pickup a reading log at the library, or print your own reading log. Track your reading and win prizes! See more information about the program.

100 Books Before High School

500 Books Before High School is a reading initiative for grades K to 8. Read 500 Books and earn a small prize for every 100 books read. After 500 books you will earn a $5 gift certificate.

100 Books Before Graduation

100 Books Before Graduation is a reading initiative for teens ages 14-18 to read 100 books before they graduate from high school. You can register online, pick up a reading log at the library, or print your own reading log.

Summer Reading Challenge

A challenge designed to keep kids and adults reading throughout the summer. The challenge begins the Tuesday after Memorial Day and ends at the end of July.

Winter Reading Challenge

Snow better time to read! Log your reading to earn prizes in the winter! All ages can participate.
