» Read moreThe Community Literacy Foundation, in partnership with the School District of Washington, Washington Public Library, Friends of the Library and the Washington Optimist Club, will host Family Reading Night on Friday, March 3, at Washington Middle School. The program kicks off at 6 p.m. with picture book author and illustrator Colter Jackson sharing her book, “Rhino Suit,” a story of a young girl who feels things so deeply, she builds a tough-skinned rhino suit for protection. But she discovers that to feel the good, it’s important to learn ways to deal with the not-so-good.

During this work, certain areas of the library will be unavailable for browsing. These areas will change from week-to-week. Staff will be available to help get materials when it is safe to do so.
