Pick up this year's Community Read book, Speak to Me of Home by Jeanine Cummins beginning March 23rd. This book will be available at Washington Public Library, all Scenic Regional Library Branches, and the ECC Library in Union.

The goal of the community read is to unite the communities of Franklin, Gasconade, and Warren counties together by reading and discussing the same book at the same time. Scenic Regional Library, Washington Public Library, and East Central College have partnered to host an annual Community Read each Spring. This year the Community Read will be April 1 to April 30. There will be free programs throughout the three-county area, on the themes relating to the selected title.
