Friends of the Washington Public Library
The Friends of the Washington Public Library Board meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Main Library Conference Room, unless otherwise announced. Meetings are open to the public.
Membership Levels (Pay by Cash or Check) Simply print of our Friends Membership Application, choose your membership level, put your method of payment in an envelope with it. If you choose to mail it to us, please do not mail cash. You can bring it into the main desk of the Washington Public Library and they will make sure that we get it. There are also brochures located at both library desks that you can complete if you are not able to print it off.

Starting to purge your house? Watched the Swedish Death Cleaning on Lifetime? We will take your donations of books! These books help supply our Lobby Book Sale that benefits the Children’s Programs at the Library and help us replace well loved books within the library collections that have come to their retirement. Just put them in a bag or box (please don’t overload), bring to the library, and one of our amazing librarians at the main desk can help you get them to our “Friends Room.” While you are there, check out the books in the lobby….(address is located at the bottom of the page)
